| A. Yes we can. We can offer you buyer representation and show you
any listed property in Minnesota, unless it is not offered for sale
on a multiple listing service. |
| Q. Can I make an offer even though I need to sell my home first? |
| A. Yes you can. This is called a "contingent offer" because it
is dependant on the sale of your home. If you are considering this,
you need to be prepared to have your home listed immediately. |
| Q. How do I know what I can afford? |
| A. You will need to contact a lender and get pre-approved. This is
very important for two reasons. First, it lets you know the price
range of homes we can shop for. Second, when we make an offer and
include a pre-approval letter, we have a better chance of getting our
offer accepted. |
| Q. How do I find a lender if I don't already have one? |
| A. Ask other people for recommendations, or we can tell you of several
companies that we have worked with in the past, but remember, it is always
your decision of which lender you choose to work with. |
| Q. When I find a house, how long does it take until we can close on it? |
| A. This depends on many factors, like if the home is already vacant or not,
but generally closing could be within 30-90 days. |
| Q. Who does the closing? |
| A. Many times your lender will have closing companies they will recommend,
or we too, have several that we have worked with in the past, but remember,
just like choosing a lender, the company that does the closing for you is your
choice. |
